| For
over 50 years the Upper Sandusky Area Chamber of Commerce has
assisted local business, developed projects to enhance the
community and promoted the area’s livability and benefits to
companies and individuals considering life here.
Working with the
Chamber’s executive director and assistant is a caring,
10-member volunteer board of directors that endeavor to better
conditions for businesses and members of the community.
The Chamber of
Commerce works with local and regional organizations,
including but not limited to, the Wyandot County Visitors
Bureau, Carey Area Chamber of Commerce, North Central Ohio
Regional Development Alliance, and Small Business Development
Center.
As time passes
and members gain a sincere appreciation for the community,
they frequently develop into speaking ambassadors for Upper
Sandusky’s area business development efforts, phoning and
meeting with potential new businesses large and small.
The
Chamber is the source for information about local products and
services. It handles queries about the community, schools,
churches, residential areas, medical, and other community
services. It provides information for tourist brochures,
relocation packets, maps, phone
books and business directories. Chamber personnel handle each
query about the area, its demographics, building site
locations and development opportunities.
